Educational Package

Welcome aboard the MV Maryann, Echuca Moama on the Mighty Murray River, for an educational experience rich
in history, nature and practical experiences that focus on team work and communication skills.

• We have developed a totally unique educational package for your students, which incorporates the following subjects
• History of the Murray River and the early settlers of Echuca Moama, deemed to be the largest Inland
  wharf in Australia.
• Geographical features and the changing patterns of the river system, including its hidden dangers.
• Explanation in to the Lock system and why it is used
• A presentation of Aboriginal culture and history by a local tribal Elder.
